The world today is in crisis. Anarchy rules over countries; civil wars, riots, governmental and financial problems. Some parts of the world are in the state of calamity. People tend to break rules while others rebel for freedom. These problems affect our daily lives and possibly no one in this world hasn't or haven't been affected by these problems. We, our generation try to maintain peace through technology, media literacy, charity for a cause, laws and treaties but when all else fails, one organization stands out to help us maintain peace and order rough out the world. Is organization is called the United Nations.
According to Cyberschoolbus, "The United Nations officially came into existence on 24 October 1945. The purpose of the United Nations is to bring all nations of the world together to work for peace and development, based on the principles of justice, human dignity and the well-being of all people. It affords the opportunity for countries to balance global interdependence and national interests when addressing international problems." "The name United Nations was devised by United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt and was first used in the "Declaration by United Nations" of 1 January 1942, during the Second World War, when representatives of 26 nations pledged their Governments to continue fighting together against the Axis Powers." To summmarize the whole thing; the United Nations tries to maintain order within countries. the organization help countries that are in famine, calamity and/or poverty. UN also help leaders, sovereigns and co-partners in UN to keep peace in their country and their neighboring countries. Through the help of the United Nations, the world may still have a better chance of living with no war, no governmental problems and no more suffering.
